Broadband Light
BOOK NOWBBL (Broadband Light) is a non-invasive skin treatment that uses intense pulses of visible light to rejuvenate and improve various skin issues such as sun damage, signs of ageing and acne on the face and body. Here in Queensland, where sun damage is extreme, this is one of the most popular and frequently performed treatments to improve skin health and cosmetic appearance.
• Improves uneven skin tone caused by sun damage
• Reduces freckles, acne and pigmentation
• Provides anti-aging benefits by smoothing skin texture, softening wrinkles, and reducing redness/flushing associated with rosacea.

FAQ'S
What’s the difference between BBL and IPL?
BBL uses a broader spectrum of light and has more interchangeable filters, which results in being able to treat a wider range of conditions. BBL can penetrate further into the skin than IPL, so it is more effective in treating deeper skin issues such as acne scarring and pigment. BBL delivers a longer pulse duration which means increased energy into the skin and better results in fewer sessions.
How Does It Work?
The light energy is absorbed into chromophores (the pigments in the skin including melanin, haemoglobin and water) and the light energy is converted to heat. This causes the cells to break down and stimulate the body’s natural healing response. This leads to reduced pigmentation and less redness with new collagen and elastin resulting in smoother healthier-looking skin.
Should I have a skin cancer check before my treatment?
Yes, it’s important to have a skin cancer check to look for any suspicious growths or lesions prior as the treatment may remove the pigment/melanin and result in a delay of appropriate medical treatment. If there is a pre-cancerous or cancerous spot this must be removed and or treated first, and then the BBL sessions can commence.

Halo Pro
BOOK NOWHalo Pro is a hybrid fractional laser treatment combining ablative and non-ablative wavelengths to rejuvenate and resurface the skin. This innovative laser technology effectively targets various skin concerns, including sun damage, fine lines and wrinkles, uneven skin tone and texture and acne scars, restoring the luminous glow you had when you were younger.
The Halo Pro laser creates controlled micro-injuries on the skin's surface using a handheld device that combines ablative and non-ablative wavelengths. The ablative wavelength removes damaged skin cells, while the non-ablative wavelength stimulates collagen and elastin production, producing brighter, healthier skin with a more comfortable recovery and less associated risk.
• Decrease in lines and wrinkles, along with improved skin texture overall

FAQS
How does it work?
The laser penetrates deep into the skin using heat energy to promote the skin's natural healing response, stimulating collagen and elastin production and the new growth of healthy blood cells. We can customise HALO Laser wavelengths to address individual skin concerns and achieve desired results.
Is Halo Pro treatment painful?
Patients typically report feeling a warm or prickling sensation during the treatment, but it is generally well-tolerated. A topical numbing cream is applied 30 mins before treatment to minimise discomfort.
What is the downtime associated with Halo Pro treatment?
There is typically some downtime associated with Halo Pro treatment, as the skin needs time to heal and regenerate. Patients may experience redness, swelling, and peeling for several days after treatment, but these side effects are generally mild and can be managed with proper aftercare.

Vascular Laser
book nowA vascular laser is a medical device that uses a specific type of light energy to target and treat blood vessels in the skin. The laser emits a beam of light absorbed by the hemoglobin (the pigment in red blood cells), causing the blood vessels to thicken and shrink.
• Spider veins: Small red, purple or blue veins that appear on the skin's surface, usually on the face, legs, and chest.
• Rosacea: A chronic skin condition that causes redness, swelling, and small bumps on the face.
• Port-wine stains: A type of birthmark that appears as pink or red discolouration on the skin.
• Hemangiomas: A benign tumour comprising a collection of small blood vessels.

FAQS
How does a vascular laser treatment work?
Vascular laser treatments work by targeting the haemoglobin (a protein in red blood cells) in the blood vessels, which absorbs the laser energy and causes the vessels to collapse and eventually be absorbed by the body. The laser is delivered through the skin, and the energy is absorbed by the targeted blood vessels without damaging the surrounding skin or tissue.
Are there any risks associated with vascular laser treatments?
As with any medical procedure, vascular laser treatments may have some risks. These can include redness, swelling, bruising, scarring, changes in skin colour, and infection.
How many treatments are required to see results?
The number of treatments required depends on the specific condition being treated, and the individual's response to treatment. In general, multiple treatments may be required to achieve optimal results.
How long do the results of a vascular laser treatment last?
A vascular laser treatment's results can last several years, but may not be permanent. Maintenance treatments may be necessary to maintain the results over time.

Coolview Face Laser
book nowThe CoolView laser is a type of vascular laser commonly used for treating spider veins on the legs or face. During the treatment, the laser emits light energy absorbed by the hemoglobin in the blood vessels, leading to their coagulation and shrinkage. The procedure is generally non-invasive and requires no downtime; however, you may need multiple treatments to achieve the best results. One of the benefits of CoolView laser is its ability to remove unhealthy cells while preserving healthy ones, as the hemoglobin and melanin pigments selectively absorb intense light energy.
• Reduces facial redness associated with acne and rosacea
• Lightens pigmentation and corrects uneven skin texture
• Reduces broken capillaries, leg veins, and spider angiomas

FAQS
Is the CoolView laser treatment painful?
The CoolView laser treatment is generally well-tolerated with minimal discomfort due to the cooling window of the laser device used to reduce skin surface reaction.
How many CoolView treatments are needed?
The number of treatments needed depends on the size and severity of the spider veins, with most patients requiring one to four treatments for optimal results.
Are there any side effects?
Side effects of the CoolView laser treatment are generally mild and temporary, such as redness, swelling, or bruising, which usually subside within a few days.

Laser Genesis
book nowLaser Genesis is a non-invasive laser treatment that targets fine lines, wrinkles, acne scars, and other skin concerns. Using specific laser technology heats the deeper layers of the skin, stimulating collagen production and promoting skin regeneration. During the treatment, a handpiece delivers laser energy to the skin, which is absorbed by the skin's pigment and converted into heat. This process helps to achieve a smoother, more youthful complexion.
• It addresses fine lines and wrinkles, enlarged pores, uneven skin texture, and acne scars and reduces redness and veins associated with facial flushing and rosacea
• It can also help with sun damage and age spots, improving the skin's overall appearance
• Laser Genesis reduces redness and lumpiness associated with surgical, acne, or injury scars, resulting in smoother-looking skin
