Tattoo removal and cosmetic tattooing
SKINIAL Tattoo removal
The Skinial tattoo removal process makes use of the natural rejection response of the skin and its healing process to remove the ink completely from the body.
Using a cosmetic tattoo device, small sections of the top layer of skin (the epidermis) will be penetrated in the form of small circles with a maximum depth of 0.3mm. Skin bridges between the circles reduce the risk of scarring compared to treating larger areas.
The patented removal liquid Skinial-Ex is based on (lactic) milk acid and is applied to the treated area. It slowly penetrates through the tattoo inland then reacts with the macrophages, which has encapsulated the colour molecules.
These cells then lose their strength and release the tattoo pigment. The macrophages that have surrounded and protected the tattoo ink are now recognised by the body’s defence system as a foreign substance, subsequently rejecting them directly to the surface of the skin where a scab will form. This scab dries after a few days then flakes and falls off 10-14 days later.
After 8-10 weeks the tattoo removal treatment can be repeated in adjacent areas until the entire tattoo is removed. After all treated areas have returned to original skin colour, the area can be tattooed again if desired.
TIPS TO KEEP YOUR TATTOO HEALTHY!
Not all tattoos are regrets, so for the ones that you cherish, look after them!
- Always protect the area from sun (UV light breaks the colour down and fades your tattoo faster)
- Keep the skin well moisturised to maintain healthy skin function
- Have regular skin cancer checks
It is an exciting procedure, in which carefully applied semi-permanent pigment is placed into the dermal layer of the skin. The pigment is made of a natural iron oxide. It is hypo-allergic, and there are no fragrances, emollients or other ingredients added.
Your preferred colour is implanted into a lower layer of the skin, where it remains for up to 5 years. The pigments we use are non-reactive and virtually limitless in the choice of colour available. This make-up is perfectly safe and has been approved by doctors and written favorably about by many respected beauty writers.
Semi-permanent cosmetic, semi-permanent make-up, micro pigmentation, and cosmetic tattoo are terms all describing the same thing; the implantation of pigment beneath the surface of the skin with needles.
